History
One Mind traces its origins to 1990, when Brandon Staglin, then 18 years old, was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Following his recovery with family support, Shari, Garen, Brandon, and Shannon Staglin committed to helping others facing similar struggles, launching the inaugural Music Festival for Brain Health fundraiser in 1995. Milestones include formalizing the Rising Star Awards in 2005, establishing One Mind at Work in 2017, launching One Mind Media in 2020 (reaching over 20 million viewers), running the One Mind Accelerator since 2023, and launching the Lived Experience Initiative in 2024.
