The Jackie Robinson Foundation (JRF) is a New York City-based nonprofit founded in 1973 by Rachel Robinson to honor the legacy of her husband, baseball and civil rights pioneer Jackie Robinson. The foundation's core purpose is "to educate, inspire, and challenge" through scholarship, leadership development, and educational programs, and it also operates the Jackie Robinson Museum in New York City.

History
Rachel Robinson established the foundation in 1973, the year after Jackie Robinson's death, to perpetuate his legacy through education. Nearly five decades later, the foundation realized a long-held goal with the 2022 opening of the Jackie Robinson Museum in Lower Manhattan.
